A is for AUSTIN - and ALEJANDRO !

Where do I begin to relate the excitement of my recent Austin experience ? Perhaps I'll just start alphabetically...

When I was in line at the Continental Club waiting to see Alejandro Escovedo [a long time dream come true!] a tall long-haired [Richard Brautigan looking] guy - a loyal fan - clued me in that Alejandro had played with non other than BRUCE the week before - so I had to get to Youtube right after the show to see this AWESOME clip ! Nice to see our local boy getting some long overdue national exposure !






I now anxiously await the new CD , REAL ANIMAL to be released June 24 [how can I wait ?!] - fortunately I got to hear some of the new tracks live to help appease the waiting.
